Mass Erect?

I haven't had the pleasure of checking this clip out, but I wanted to touch on the conversation on a previous post EA Vs Fox! - 01/28/08
So...Buckey, you did it with the blue alien chick huh? I'm still chatting her up, but I was wondering...can I be a whore and sleep with the blue bunnie and the hunky dude? Okay, not at the same time you know...I'm just sayin'. LOL!!!
That would be great wouldn't it? I could be this great space specter and super whore all at once. It's lovley. What a concept. So far I'm loving this game, but still no boob action...no nothin'. No time either. Studying for the Series 66. Once I'm done with that one you may all refer to me as Mrs. Financial Advisor Ma'am. Not really...but you could if I had some clients of my very own. Any takers? LOL!!! :P

If that false headline didn’t grab you (pun intended) then I’m not sure what would in this jaded world.

The afterglow of Fox News’ Mass Effect controversy is beginning to fade as the campaign trail heats up and Super Tuesday is around the bend here in America but that is no reason not to laugh!

Thanks to a parody of the entire Fox segment by Canadian comics LoadingReadyRun, we can look back and laugh at the wonderfully comical actions of the mainstream media in covering this supposed controversy. Unfortunately while we rub off the stain of that event we can alway rest assured that someone, somewhere will find the humor in the situation and bring it to light.

Enjoy the embedded video, but don’t enjoy it too much or you might become a raving sodomite.

EA Vs Fox!

I don't blame EA for staying away from Fox after what they've done. Personally I take it as free advertisment. The fact that there would be major nudity in a video game this amazing would be a big seller for me. Not because it does anything for me, but because it would be HYSTERICAL!!! As it would be for nearly EVERYONE I know.

I haven't even gotten to the tame sex scenes yet either... These "reporters and professionals" really did a number on the game and honestly...what the hell kind of idiot do you have to be (the supposed psychologist) to jump on a newscast with no information on the subject whatsoever? This woman, who's name I don't care to remember, started talking about the games sex scenes as though she knew what she was talking about. She'd never even seen the game let alone the "sex scenes"

Plain and simple Fox shoved their collective feet down their throats and out their asses and they should publicly appologize for their error. It's happened before...

Anyway, here's the latest article I have on this issue:

LIVE Activity for week of 1/7

Now the only thing that caught my eye here is the Top 360 Titles. How is Halo the top game? UU... Unique Users IP address is what that is based on. Meaning... it's completely unrealistic don't you think?

Nearly every single one of my friends is on COD4 and that's not just because that's the game I found them on. Most friends on GTP are not on my friends list Live and even they game almost strictly on COD4. I think Halo has had it's 15 min and they're more than up. At least this time around. Maybe they'll actually come out with something a little better.

Maybe it won't matter. Maybe... just maybe... people are just tired of the same old story. * gasp * Yeah, I said it. The same tired old story. Could it be?

the simExchange Blog

I can't believe I found this site. It helps if you know a little about the world of Finance, but it's a great place to start if you want to learn about it and dont know how. Especially for video gamers or young kids that might have an interest in Finance.

I've set up an account here, but have yet to confirm it. I can't wait to try it out. Maybe I'll actually learn something. I've been tracking some game publisher stocks and other gaming related stocks and have been trying to keep up with the tons and tons of news. It's not always easy to keep track of it even with my Reuters at work so sites like this are great!~Maha

We will be launching IPOs for February 2008 NPD Futures next week.

NPD Futures debut in two-phase IPOs. IPO Phase 1 is a 48 hour period of trading without automated market making to determine the IPO Phase 2 price. Advanced trading mode is required to place orders in IPO Phase 1. After IPO Phase 1, the futures contracts will enter IPO Phase 2 in which the bid and ask prices will be fixed all day.

Super Smash Bros Brawl (Wii) has been replaced with WipEout Pulse (PSP). A GLS stock for WipEout Pulse (PSP) will debut the same day. Frontlines Fuel of War (PS3) has been replaced with Frontlines: Fuel of War (Xbox 360).

Uncharted Solid Performers in Dec.

I bought Mass Effect around Mid December and I must say I really liked the game. Great story, graphics and the acting was the best I've ever come across. I never did finish that game. Assasins Creed took it's place for a moment, but Call of Duty 4 completely took over my life.

Still games like Mass Effect did fairly well during the Holiday Season, but up against a game like COD4... can't expect much.

They didn't quite make the top 10 list for December on US NPD charts, but Mass Effect, Mario Party DS and Uncharted: Drake's Fortune also performed well during the holiday month.

Rock Band Rakes In Dwnld $

Holy... 2.5 million songs were downloaded for Rock Band on Xbox Live. I really want this game, but I've yet to purchase it. Can't afford the entire band set and really can't afford the game itself. I believe I should be able to buy the game and just get a microphone.

Harmonix is selling song pack downloads for 440 microsoft points(mp), that's about 5.50. Each song is about 80mp - 240 mp (1-3 bucks).

Looks like Sony is having issues keeping up with Microsoft in this department:

CoMagz-Real or Computer Generated? | Linkadelic Magazine

Wow, I remember back in the day when Tomb Raider was the best thing since sliced bread for me. I loved the graphics. I'd get so excited turning my game on and playing for the movie sequence I knew would come. I remember telling my then husband PumpotheClown, "Just wait till they break out with even better cut sequences than this. Before you know it you'll be playing as though you were IN a movie not just a part of it." okay....so maybe I didn't quite word it that way... In fact all I may have said is that it would be great to one day play a game like you were in a movie .... or something like that.

OH who fucking cares what I said! The point is that it's getting there guys. It's fucking getting there and it's going to happen during our life times. Technology is amazing and is advancing in leaps and bounds. Thank god for our geeks!!!

Check out what Infinity Labs is putting out there. You'll find pictures of real landscapes and the computer generated rendering that Cry Engine 2 cranked out, a next gen graphics engine by Ubisoft.

They photographs are absolutely amazing. :)

Atari - US - Digital Downloads

http://www.multikonsolero.de/flyer/atari.jpg
Atari will be offering game downloads for 19.99 on games across all platforms for all existing console titles. The program called GamersFirst is was announced by Atari earlier this May and is being considered one of the industry's most aggressive pricing programs available today.

Windows titles that are being included in the programs will be downloadable at Valve and Direct2Drive for the same price, but here's where it gets tricky. The titles offered in the GamersFirst program include Dragon Ball Z(R): Budokai Tenkaichi, Driver: Parallel Lines, Marc Ecko's Getting up: contents Under Pressure and Indigo Prophecy. Other than Driver I have no clue what any of those other games are.

I think Atari is seriously ready to kick the bucket here and is really reaching for a way to get consumers to buy their games. The only problem is that unless you have a computer that can handle the downloads you'll never benefit from this nifty program.

Ah yes, and the recently launched Dungeons and Dragons online will not be included.
