In-Game Adverts

Oh oh, Sony and Activision both share the same idea. In-game adverts probably won't be the way of the future, but I definately think it's something worth exploring. EA is causing quite the stir with it's Battlefield, an online game that is scheduled to be release sometime this summer for free. Yeah, free on the PC to all with one tinsy little addition, adverts and optional gamer "microtransactions" whatever that means.

Personally I'm all up for free and if Sony and Activision doesn't see at least some revenue potential there they're out of their minds. I for one am SICK TO DEATH of speanding hundreds of dollars per year on my gaming habit and have barely any video games to show for it. So bring on the Advertisments, bring on the microwhatchamacalits and LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
