UTAWARERUMONO

Yesterday I watched Utawarerumono on Netflix. The whole series was available and I watched episodes 1-26 over Saturday and Sunday. We had so much fun being lazy all day long, but the thing is that we really got into the series. It was so good we just couldn't stop watching it. That's how engrossing the storyline was, you could tell it was heavily edited to be suitable for Netflix use. I really thing they should have an adult section, but as long as the story is great the missing scenes won't really matter.

Now I've become a huge fan of Utawarerumono practically overnight and there are some figures and collectors items I'd love to get my hands on. I've never been big on collecting anything, but you know...I think I'm going to start. Well...start again that is. I gave almost everything I've collected to my exhusband...or rather, gave it back.

I wasn't able to get a better picture of the figurines here, but I'd love the whole collection.

She was one of my favorite characters on the show, though I have to say I truly loved them all. It's amazing how quickly you can grow to love a show. Even though Rigid wouldn't admit it, he loved it just as much as I did, of course, I suspect it could have something to do with the potential racey sex scenes Japanese animators are notorious for.

Some of these figures can be rather expensive, but I bet I could find them cheaper somewhere else.
